The Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) accreditation for Business Advisers is a quality mark that confirms that business support professionals have the personal and technical skills required to provide effective support to entrepreneurs and the businesses that they run.
It has been specifically designed to provide both experienced and less experienced Advisers with credibility to clients, while securing a standard that is recognised throughout the UK.
Benefits
As a Business Adviser achieving the SFEDI standard, you will be able to use the logo for all your marketing material. The endorsement that you recieve also provides your clients with confidence in the quality of service you offer. More importantly it will demonstrate you have a proven competence against the standards required for the Institute of Business Consulting, Regional Development Agencies, Learning Skills Councils, Business Links and other funding bodies.
How to get started
The process of SFEDI accreditation is very effortless and straightforward. Simply fill in the application form found below and wait for one of our highly experienced assessors to get in touch.
The assessment itself consists of a preparatory self assessment, three observations of you working with clients and a summative discussion to gather additional evidence and agree a personal development plan.
